CIC (Children In Common) Socks
For more information about this wonderful charity-knitting opportunity, go to www.Socknitters.com;

Here are the socks I made for CIC's 2003 goal.
Sadly, I am 6 pairs short of my personal goal
for this year. I will get these in the mail soon.
Top row:
These two were made from a free pattern by Elizabeth
Durand. For the garter cuff, on the 1st pair from the
left, I used a tan Plymouth Galway wool. The foot
is double strand Regia sock yarn. The 2nd pair from
the left is one strand of tan Plymouth Galway and 1
strand of Regia sock yarn. The 3rd pair is made from
a free pattern from KnittingGeek.com.

Bottom row:
The first two pairs are made from odds and ends of wool
in a pattern by Helene Rush Designs. http://www.knitcrochetpatterns.com/cic_socks.html. The
third pair (purple/black) is a toe-up version of Helene's
pattern.
All these socks go quickly, are a lot of fun, use up odds &
ends of wool, and are MUCH appreciated by the
recipients.
